What this policy covers

Hakan Ozmen develops Bao Squish. This policy describes the current Unity-based Bao Squish app and this website. The new app is in development; older versions may have different features. Contact us with your version number if you need clarification.

Your little world stays local

The current app saves settings, friend names and appearances, creations, game scores and history, discoveries, dance routines and supported game continuation data in local device storage. These records let you return to your play between sessions.

There is no Bao account or Bao-operated cloud sync. The current app does not include advertising SDKs, usage analytics or cloud crash reporting. It does not access your microphone to listen or record speech.

Your device or operating system may include app data in backups according to your settings. This is separate from Bao’s own storage. Avoid entering sensitive personal information into friend or routine names.

Help & About links open this website in your browser only when you choose them. Core play does not depend on visiting these pages. Browser, operating-system and app-distribution services follow their own privacy practices.

When you visit or say hello

This website does not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, remote fonts or tracking cookies. Images and other page assets are served with the website. The interactive previews and support composer do not store your choices in browser storage.

Delivering a web page requires network requests. The hosting provider may process technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time for delivery, security and operational logs. These requests are separate from offline app play.

The support composer prepares a message in your email app; it does not send a form to a database. Nothing is sent to our support inbox until you choose to send the email. If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any information or attachments you include. We use this correspondence to respond, investigate the issue and handle related follow-up. Our email provider processes it to deliver and store correspondence.

Please share only what is needed to explain your issue. We do not use support messages for advertising or sell them. Technical logs and correspondence may be handled by hosting or email providers, and information may be disclosed when legally required. Records are kept only as needed for support, security or legal obligations; provider backups and retention controls may affect deletion timing.

You’re in control

You can change the app’s sound, movement and appearance settings in Options. Bao does not hold a server copy of your saved play that we can restore for you. Removing the app’s local data can remove saved creations and progress; operating-system backups may retain copies and should be managed separately.

For questions about, access to or deletion of support correspondence, email support@baosquish.com. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information and raise a concern with a privacy authority. We may need to verify that a request relates to your correspondence.

A note for families

Bao is intended for a broad audience. The current app does not ask players to create accounts or send personal information. Young players should ask a parent or guardian to contact support for them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.

Updates and questions

We will update this page when these practices change and revise the date above. New online features or third-party services would require a fresh privacy review before release.
